PSV Eindhoven have secured the signing of Romanian international Dennis Man from Parma on a four-year deal. The 26-year-old creative winger arrives for a fee reported to be around €8.5 million, a solid investment for the Eredivisie champions as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
Versatile Attacking Talent With Track Record
Dennis Man brings to PSV valuable versatility, effortlessly operating on either flank or as a second striker. He spent four and a half seasons at Parma, where he impressed in both Serie A and Serie B, contributing goals and assists consistently. His performances earned him recognition on the international stage. He featured prominently for Romania at EURO 2024, and was honoured late last year as his country’s best player—a prestigious accolade shared with legends like Adrian Mutu, Christian Chivu and Gheorghe Popescu.
Dennis Man Ready To Fill The Creative Void
The arrival of Man comes as PSV were in need of creativity following the departures of Johan Bakayoko and Noa Lang. The club’s director of football emphasised how Man’s dribbling ability, goal threat and international experience make him an ideal fit to inject spark into PSV’s frontline.
Dennis Man Eager To Make His Mark
In his first words at the Philips Stadion, Man didn’t hide his enthusiasm. He said that when his agent called to say PSV were interested, he immediately said let’s go. He spoke admiringly of those who have worn the club’s colours—Madueke, Gakpo, Xavi Simons, Ronaldo—and said that very few clubs match PSV’s ambition. He is determined to give everything in every game and to win many trophies with his new team.
Smart Business By PSV In Summer Window
This move marks PSV’s seventh signing this summer and looks like a smart piece of business. In Man they add not only a talented attacker but also a player with experience at major international tournaments. His arrival signals PSV’s intent to challenge domestically and make a statement on Europe’s biggest stage.
Expect Man to be a key figure as PSV begin their Champions League campaign. His flair on the ball and knack for unlocking defences could make him a fan favourite and a difference-maker in big matches.
