Bayern Munich have no intention of selling right winger Michael Olise despite reported interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid. The 22-year-old only joined the Bundesliga club in July 2024 for a fee of around £50 million, signing a long-term deal that runs until June 2029.

According to reports from Goal and Africa Soccer, Bayern Munich have firmly closed the door on any potential exit for the former Crystal Palace forward. Olise has established himself as a key figure in Bavaria under head coach Vincent Kompany, having scored his first Bundesliga goal against Werder Bremen in September 2024 after making his league debut in August.
Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeness emphatically dismissed the possibility of a transfer when discussing the player's future. Speaking to German media, Hoeness stated: "Sell Michael Olise for €200 million? He won’t be sold. We play this game for our fans. We have 430,000 members, we have millions of fans all over the world, and it doesn’t help."
No rush over contract talks in Bavaria
With Olise's current contract running for several more years, Bayern Munich hierarchy feel under no pressure to renegotiate terms or address external transfer noise. Journalist Christian Falk suggested the German giants would only contemplate a release clause in future discussions if it reached figures between €150 million and €250 million.
However, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen confirmed that formal discussions over a new contract are not on the immediate agenda. "We're not currently in talks," Dreesen said. "He has a contract until 2029, so there's no reason to rush anything." For Liverpool, who continue to assess long-term options on the right flank, Olise's immense valuation and Bayern's resolute stance mean any potential move remains highly unrealistic.
