Manchester United’s search for Luke Shaw’s successor
United view the England international as the ideal long-term solution to their recurring left-back issues. First-choice left-back Luke Shaw, 31, has struggled consistently with injuries, forcing right-backs Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui to deputise on the opposite flank. Having previously missed out on Nathaniel Brown to Bayern Munich, United’s recruitment team is cautious about blocking the pathway for a top-tier specialist. Speaking to reporters, Jaissle insisted there is "no chance" of Hall departing, adding: "We definitely count on him, he's a player of huge, huge potential."
