Vinicius Júnior

France legend Marcel Desailly has voiced doubts over Real Madrid’s decision to retain Vinícius Júnior, while Arsenal assistant Miguel Molina has confirmed the club's past summer interest in the forward.

Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior faces a potential suspension after being dismissed for violent conduct, leaving his availability for the upcoming El Clásico in doubt.

Vinícius Júnior is facing scrutiny over his form during a difficult start to the season, while manager José Mourinho continues a measured introduction for new arrival Yan Diomandé.

Real Madrid have entered advanced negotiations to extend Jude Bellingham's contract, with reports suggesting a new deal that would keep the England international at the Santiago Bernabéu until 2032.

Arsenal could pursue a marquee forward in January if the right opportunity arises, according to David Ornstein, despite strict UEFA financial regulations.

Despite his €125m price tag, Yan Diomande has played only 83 minutes for Real Madrid. José Mourinho is preaching patience as he eases the 19-year-old into the squad.
