However, Goal reports that the Rossoneri intend to revisit the situation in the winter transfer window if the Brazilian's playing time remains limited once he recovers from an injury that has kept him sidelined.

According to Fichajes, Cardinale’s direct inquiry was rebuffed by Mourinho, who was determined to retain the forward in Madrid. Endrick has yet to play for Real Madrid this season due to injury, following a highly successful loan spell at Olympique Lyonnais in the second half of last season where he registered five goals and seven assists in 16 appearances. Milan are monitoring his rehabilitation closely. If his pathway to first-team minutes under Mourinho remains restricted in the new year, the Serie A club are prepared to test Real Madrid's resolve with a structured loan offer that includes a purchase option.

Milan’s pursuit of the forward aligns with manager Rubén Amorim's desire to build a highly fluid front line.
