Arsenal have registered fresh enquiries for Real Madrid striker Endrick following the departure of winger Gabriel Martinelli to Al-Hilal, according to reporting by TEAMtalk. The London club had previously held exploratory talks with the Spanish giants regarding the 20-year-old forward in late August, as detailed by FootballTransfers.
While interest from the Gunners has been renewed, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has ruled out a potential exit for the player. Speaking on GIVEMESPORT's Market Madness podcast, Romano stated: "Madrid in this moment...there were reports today about Endrick but Endrick is not leaving the club. Endrick is staying, and so at the moment, Real Madrid, no, no movement at all." Liverpool also made an enquiry earlier in the summer to understand the potential conditions of a loan or permanent deal but were informed that Real Madrid intended to keep him.
Mourinho Rejects Exit as Pecking Order Shifts
Endrick, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Olympique Lyonnais where he scored five times in 16 league appearances, has found regular minutes limited in Madrid. Following the arrival of Levante centre forward Carlos Espi, the Brazilian has slipped to third in the central pecking order behind Espi and Kylian Mbappé. Despite this, Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has remained firm on keeping the young talent.
Addressing the interest, Mourinho explained: "He’s a player I really like a lot. He had tons and tons of inquiries from clubs that wanted him, whether to loan him out or to sell him, but I didn’t want to. It’s already decided, I’m not going to loan him out or sell him, because I like working with this young player, who has talents that are very important for the games." Despite these assurances, reports suggest concerns persist within Endrick's camp regarding his path to consistent first-team action.
