Bayern Munich chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen has admitted the German giants will "revisit" the long-term future of winger Michael Olise next summer, amid ongoing interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid. Dreesen refuses to rule out future Olise departure
Speaking to BuliNews, Dreesen clarified that while Bayern did not receive any concrete bids during the most recent window, the club cannot offer definitive guarantees about Olise's long-term stay. "Making promises in this business is a tricky matter," Dreesen said. "Whether we can keep him permanently is something we will discuss again in the summer." Dreesen firmly dismissed previous exit rumours as "simply wasn't true," labeling the winger "a magician on this pitch" and affirming his current importance to Vincent Kompany's squad, where Olise is reportedly content.
Liverpool's strategic interest and potential €150m-plus release clause
Liverpool have continued to monitor Olise as a potential long-term successor to Mohamed Salah. However, pry him away from Munich will require a historic financial package. According to reporting by CF Bayern Insider, Munich executives are considering offering Olise an adjusted contract that would insert a massive release clause, estimated between €150m and €250m. Journalist Christian Falk noted that while Bayern historically avoided release clauses, they have lately adjusted this policy, adding that any clause attached to Olise "will be very, very high" to ensure massive reinvestment funds if triggered. Such a fee would place Olise among the most expensive transfers in football history, testing the resolve of suitors next summer.
