According to a report by TEAMtalk, the German champions remain confident that the 33-year-old striker will commit his long-term future to the club, viewing the deal as a matter of when rather than if.
Kane's current contract in Munich is set to run through the summer of 2027. Following a Champions League victory over Bodø/Glimt, Kane spoke positively about the timeline of the ongoing discussions. "We had talks a few weeks ago and more this week," Kane said. "I don’t expect it to be finalized in the next week or two, but hopefully we’ll be where we want to be in the next month or two."
Bayern's board member for sport, Max Eberl, has also indicated a desire to avoid a protracted negotiation process. In an interview with Sport BILD, Eberl remarked, "We don’t want this to become a never-ending saga, and it won’t." The club is eager to settle the contract situation, ideally before the New Year.
