PSG Recalibrate Squad As Jorge Mendes Offers Gonçalo Ramos To Serie A Giants

PSG are ready to sell Gonçalo Ramos for €30m-€35m as Jorge Mendes holds talks with AC Milan and Juventus amid a wider squad thinning at the Parc des Princes.

Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to sanction the departure of Gonçalo Ramos this summer as the club shifts toward a leaner squad structure under Luis Enrique. According to reports from Matteo Moretto, agent Jorge Mendes has already offered Ramos, 24, to both AC Milan and Juventus. PSG are understood to be seeking a fee between €30 million and €35 million for the Portuguese forward, representing a significant technical loss on the roughly €65 million package paid to Benfica in 2024. This move headlines a broader summer clear-out that could also see Randal Kolo Muani, Milan Škriniar, and Lee Kang-in depart the Parc des Princes.

Attacking reshuffle and the Ramos valuation

The decision to market Ramos at nearly half his original purchase price reflects a pragmatism in Paris following their 2025 Champions League triumph. While Ramos provided a physical presence, he has struggled to consistently displace more fluid attacking options preferred by Luis Enrique. The €30-35 million asking price is designed to facilitate a quick exit to Serie A, where AC Milan and Juventus are both searching for traditional number nines. Simultaneously, PSG must resolve the future of Randal Kolo Muani. The 27-year-old forward is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, but reports from The Hard Tackle suggest a permanent stay in London is unlikely. Kolo Muani is reportedly prioritising a move to Juventus, further signalling a potential exodus of high-value strikers who have failed to secure regular starting roles.

Tactical evolution and wage bill management

The planned departures of Milan Škriniar and Lee Kang-in underline a tactical shift away from depth players who do not fit Enrique’s high-intensity system. Škriniar, 31, has fallen out of favour and is attracting interest from Galatasaray and various Premier League clubs, including Wolves. Meanwhile, Lee Kang-in is reportedly considering an exit to secure more minutes in major competitions, with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli monitoring his situation. These exits align with President Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s recent comments regarding a strict "salary cap" and a move away from the club's former superstar-heavy recruitment. While squad players are being ushered out, PSG are moving to secure their core; Fabián Ruiz is understood to be close to signing a contract extension until 2029, rewarding his status as a regular starter in Enrique’s midfield rotation.

With Luis Enrique recently committing his own future to the club through 2029, the focus now shifts to whether Milan or Juventus will meet the lowered valuation for Ramos before the pre-season begins.
